天気予報100年 1984年（昭和59年） 6月 1日発行 1884年（明治17年）6月、気象庁の前身である東京気象台から日本で最初の天気予報が発表され、以降1941年の中断に至るまでの毎日3回日本全国の天気を予報し、東京市内の交番で掲示された。1925年（大正14年）3月22日：ラジオ放送開始日から天気予報も放送された。切手は天気予報開始100年を記念して発行され、「気象衛星と天気予報開始日の天気図」がデザインされている。
