日本列島クリーン運動 1983年（昭和58年） 6月 13日発行 日本列島クリーン運動は、1983年に「小さな親切」運動20周年記念としてスタートした。「美しい日本、美しい心」をスローガンに、ごみを拾うことでごみを捨てない心を育てようと全国で清掃活動を行っている。ただし、日本の町並みは電柱が立ち並び、景観を損ねている実態がある。今後の国と自治体の重要課題として電線地中埋設促進が重要課題となっている。切手は「空き缶を掃除するウサギ」がデザインされている。

The Japanese Islands Cleanup Movement started in 1983 as a project to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the "Small Kindness" movement. Under the slogan of "Beautiful Japan, Beautiful Heart", we are conducting cleaning activities nationwide to foster a mind that does not throw away garbage by picking up garbage. However, the streets of Japan are lined with utility poles, which is detrimental to the landscape. Promotion of underground undergrounding of electric wires has become an important issue for the government and local governments in the future.
The stamp is designed as a "rabbit cleaning empty cans".
