National Land Afforestation Campaign

Since 1950, the National Tree-Planting Festival has been held every spring as a central event of the National Land Afforestation Movement. Stamps of the National Land Afforestation Movement were issued in the past in 1948 and 1949. Stamps were issued again in 1971 to promote the National Land Afforestation Movement, and have been issued every year since then. The 1982 National Land Afforestation Stamp is designed with the "Tree Planting Festival Mark and Blue-and-white Flycatcher.
