検疫制度100年 1979 （昭和54年） 7月 14日発行 1979年7月、郵政省は日本の検疫制度100年を記念して切手を発行した。日本の検疫制度の歴史は明治時代までさかのぼる。日本における検疫の手続は 検疫法などの法令による。 検疫法は国内に常在しない感染症の病原体が国内に侵入することを防止することなどを目的として制定されている。切手は、「検疫官と検疫艇」がデザインされている。
Quarantine System Centenary Issued on July 14, 1979(Showa 54)
In July 1979, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a stamp to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Japan's quarantine system. The history of Japan's quarantine system dates back to the Meiji era. Quarantine procedures in Japan are subject to laws and regulations such as the Quarantine Law.
The Quarantine Law is enacted for the purpose of preventing pathogens of infectious diseases that do not reside in Japan from invading the country.
The stamp is designed as "Quarantine Officer and Quarantine Boat".
