Human Rights Week Issued on December 4, 1978 (Showa 53)

Human Rights Week Issued on December 4, 1978 (Showa 53) In December 1978, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a Human Rights Week stamp. Human Rights Week was held in December 1948 (Showa 23) to commemorate the day when the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted at the United Nations General Assembly. "Human rights" is the right of human beings to live like human beings, which is a natural right, and aims to realize a peaceful and prosperous society in which all people are respected as individuals.
The stamp is designed with the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights 30 Years Mark, Sun and Family".
