国立科学博物館100年 1977年（昭和52年） 11月 2日発行
国立科学博物館は1877年の「教育博物館」設立によりスタートした。この博物館は東京上野にあり、「自然科学その他に関する調査・研究並びに資料収集と一般公開を行うことにより、自然科学の振興を図る」ことを目的としている。
切手は、1977年11月、設立100年を記念して発行され、恐竜（フタバスズキリュウ）の骨格と博物館がデザインされている。
Centenary of National Science Museum

The National Museum of Nature and Science started with the establishment of the "Education Museum" in 1877. The purpose of this museum is to "promote natural science by conducting surveys and research on natural science and others, collecting materials, and opening them to the public."The stamp was issued in November 1977 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its establishment, and the skeleton and museum of the dinosaur (Futabasaurus) are designed.
