第27回万国外科学会議 1977年（昭和52年） 9月 3日発行 1977年9月、万国外科学会議が日本で開催された。郵政省はそれを記念して切手を発行し、「手術室の外科医」がデザインされている。因みに外科療法が医療として認知されたのは19世紀末のことで，長い医療の歴史からみると最近のことである。

In September 1977, the International Conference on Foreign Sciences was held in Japan. The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued stamps to commemorate this, and a "surgeon in the operating room" was designed. By the way, surgical treatment was recognized as medical treatment at the end of the 19th century, which is recent in view of the long history of medical treatment.
