Philatelic Week Issued on April 21, 1975 (Showa 50)

Philatelic Week Issued on April 21, 1975 (Showa 50) The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued stamp hobby week stamps in April 1975. From this year, the ministry has changed to a method of printing one image on two stamps. The adopted national treasure "Matsuura Byoubu" is a painting depicting a "prostitute" in the early Edo period, and is believed to have been produced in Kyoto. During this period, traditional aristocratic and common people's culture flourished, and the customs of young people called "Kabukimono" were also a new attraction of the town of Kyoto.
