第27回国民体育大会 1972年（昭和47年）10月22日発行 1972年10月、第27回国民体育大会が鹿児島県を中心に開催された。同大会に合わせて鹿児島県内の各所で近代的なインフラが行われ、県勢に多大なる影響を与えた。熊本駅以南の鹿児島本線の電化及び一部複線化、九州自動車道の延伸、鹿児島空港の霧島市への移転である。夏季、秋季大会のスローガンは 「明るく たくましく うるわしく」。切手はこの大会を記念して発行され、剣道選手と桜島がデザインされている。
27th National Athletic Meet Issued on October 22, 1972 (Showa 47)
In October 1972, the 27th National Athletic Meet was held mainly in Kagoshima Prefecture. Along with the tournament, modern infrastructure was implemented in various parts of Kagoshima prefecture, which had a great impact on the prefectural government. The Kagoshima Main Line south of Kumamoto Station will be electrified and partially double-tracked, the Kyushu Expressway will be extended, and Kagoshima Airport will be relocated to Kirishima City.
The slogan of the summer and autumn tournaments is "bright, strong, and elegant. Stamps are issued in commemoration of this tournament, and designed by Kendo players and Sakurajima Isl.
