50th Anniv. of Arbitration System Issued on October 1, 1971 (Showa 46) Japan's mediation system started in October 1922 with land lease mediation based on the Land Lease Mediation Law.Mediation systems such as a peasant mediation system, a temporary monetary debt mediation system, and a personnel mediation system have emerged. The domestic mediation system was established in 1948, and the civil mediation system was established in 1951. A specific arbitration system was established in 2000 and became the current system. Currently, the revised Civil Mediation Law and the Domestic Affairs Case Procedure Law make it possible to use the conference call system and the video conference system. The stamp is issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the mediation system, and is designed with "three wheels (separation of three powers of judicial and legislative administration) and roses".
