札幌オリンピック冬季大会 1971年（昭和46年）2月6日発行 1971年2月、札幌オリンピック開催前年に募金切手が発行された。翌年の1972年、札幌オリンピックは2月3日から2月13日までアジアで初めての開催された。実は、太平洋戦争前の1940年に、東京オリンピックと冬季オリンピックが開催される予定だった。しかし軍部の反対で開催権を返上してしまった経緯がある。戦後、再びオリンピック開催に努力した結果、1964年東京オリンピックとともに、札幌冬季オリンピックが開催されることになった。切手は、アイスホッケーとスキージャンプがデザインされている。
Winter Olympic Games, Sapporo Issued on February 6, 1971 (Showa 46)
In February 1971, the year before the Sapporo Olympics, a fund-raising stamp was issued. The following year, 1972, the Sapporo Olympics were held for the first time in Asia from February 3rd to February 13th. In fact, the Tokyo Olympics and the Winter Olympics were scheduled to be held in 1940, before the Pacific War.
However, there is a history of returning the right to hold the event due to opposition from the military. After the war, as a result of efforts to hold the Olympic Games again, the Sapporo Winter Olympic Games will be held together with the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games.The stamps are designed for ice hockey and ski jumping.
