International Scientific Radio Union Issued on September 9, 1963 (Showa 38) The International Union of Radio Science (Union Radio Scientifique Internationa1 / URSI) is an international academic organization that communicates and promotes research in the fields of radio waves, telecommunications and electronic science. It aims at research on telecommunications using electromagnetic waves.The stamp was issued in commemoration of the International Radio Chemistry Union held in Tokyo in September 1963, and the parabolic antenna was designed.
