第１７回国民体育大会 1962年（昭和37年）10月21日発行 1962年10月、第17回国民体育大会が岡山県を中心に開催された。夏季・秋季大会のスローガンは「歴史をつくる岡山国体」とされた。またこの大会から沖縄が正式参加した。郵政省はこれを記念して切手を発行し、ライフル射撃とソフトボールがデザインされた。
17th National Athletic Meet Issued on October 21, 1962 (Showa 37) In October 1962, the 17th National Athletic Meet was held in Okayama Prefecture. The slogan of the summer / autumn tournament was "Okayama National Athletic Meet that creates history." In addition, Okinawa officially participated from this tournament. The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a stamp to commemorate this. Rifle shooting and softball were designed.
