列国議会同盟会議 1960年（昭和35年）9月27日発行 1960年9月、列国議会同盟（Inter-Parliamentary Union）会議が東京で開催された。IPUは、主権国家の議会による国際組織であり、本部はスイスのジュネーブに置かれている。日本議員団主催の会議は、1960年に第1回を始めとしてこれまでに計4回開催されている。切手は、国会の議席平面と、浮世絵の富士山を背景にした国会議事堂が描かれている。
49th Inter-parliamentary Conference Issued on September 27, 1960 (Showa 35) In September 1960, the Inter-Parliamentary Union meeting was held in Tokyo. IPU is an international organization of parliaments of sovereign states, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.Meetings sponsored by the Japanese Diet have been held a total of four times, including the first in 1960.The stamp depicts the plane of the seats of the Diet and the "Parliament Building" with Mt. Fuji in the ukiyo-e background.
