第14回国民体育大会 1959年（昭和34年） 10月25日発行 第14回国民体育大会は、冬季大会が北海道帯広市と山形県山形市・米沢市、夏季大会が、東京および埼玉・金沢県で開催された。この時、伊勢湾台風の被害で愛知・三重・岐阜は出場辞退する事となり、旗手だけが入場行進した。しかし、直前にオリンピック東京大会開催が決定され、国民のスポーツ熱が一層高まった。切手は、ハンマー投げとフェンシングがデザインされている。
