新聞週間 1949年（昭和24年）10月1日発行 1949年10月、郵政省は前年1948年（昭和23年）に アメリカ進駐軍（GHQ）の示唆により、 ニューズペーパー・ウィーク （ 英語版 ） と呼応する形で開始された新聞週間を記念して記念切手を発行した。
Newspaper Week Issued on October 1, 1949 (Showa 24) In October 1949, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a commemorative stamp to commemorate the Newspaper Week, which began in 1948 (Showa 23) in response to Newspaper Week (English version) at the suggestion of the US Army (GHQ).
