郵政省・電気通信省設置記念 1949年（昭和24年）6月1日発行 1949年（昭和24年）6月1日、逓信省は郵政省と電気通信省に分割された。郵政省は従来の郵便事業を所管し、電気通信省は戦後需要の高まった電話等の通信事業を所管した。電気通信省は、創設後3年余りで日本電信電話公社（現NTT/KDDI）となった。 この切手はその分割と新設をを記念して発行された。
