長野平和博 1949年（昭和24年）4月1日発行 1949年（昭和24年）4月、長野県長野市で開催された善光寺御開帳儀式＊と平和博覧会を記念して切手を発行した。この切手のデザインは通常切手の16円穂高岳で、長野県に所在していることから選定された。当時の逓信省は切手の濫発を行っていた時代であり、地方博覧会にこのような通常切手やはがきのデザインが流用された理由となっている。 ＊善光寺は1400年の歴史を持つ日本の寺院。その御開帳（7年に一度本尊を公開）は江戸時代1730年代に初めて行われた。
